Laparoscope laser coupler

A laparoscope laser coupler is a device that connects a laser delivery system, such as the articulating arm of a CO2 laser, to a laparoscope. It ensures the aiming beam and treatment beam are aligned at the target site and includes a lens housing, laparoscope adaptor, and a sleeve that fits into the laparoscope’s working channel to guide the laser.

This device is designed for reuse and is used when the laser wavelength cannot be transmitted through fibreoptic cables. It is regulated as a reusable medical device intended to facilitate laser-assisted laparoscopic procedures by providing optical coupling between the laser source and the endoscopic viewing system.
