Radiation shielding curtain

A radiation shielding curtain is a flexible protective barrier designed to reduce radiation exposure for medical staff and others near imaging equipment. It is positioned between the person and the radiation source during procedures to block or attenuate scattered or primary radiation.

These curtains are typically made with a fluid-resistant outer layer enclosing a thin sheet of lead or lead-equivalent material and are designed to hang from ceiling, wall, or equipment-mounted rods or tracks. They are supplied as reusable or single-use barriers depending on the model and are intended for use in environments where ionizing radiation is present, such as radiology, fluoroscopy, or interventional suites.
