Intraurethral valve/pump
13 devices GMDN 62305
An intraurethral valve and pump is a sterile, non-powered device designed to assist women who struggle with incomplete bladder emptying caused by neurological issues. By sitting within the urethra, the device uses a remote-controlled mechanism to help the bladder void urine while simultaneously preventing leakage between uses.
These devices are intended for use by a single patient and are designed to be left in place for up to 29 days before being replaced. Because they are meant for short-term use, they are discarded after the specified duration rather than being cleaned or reused.
