In Germany, the procedure, see IPV therapy, was already used with components from the American development at the turn of the millennium, but could not successfully establish itself. After the experience with the original American way of generating momentum, a new, efficient way should be taken. MukoStar® was originally developed by Gerhard Müller from 2010 to early 2013 as a therapy device for extraclinical application. Based on the experience with IPV therapy over a longer period of time, the developer and the consulting physicians agreed that the system also had to be usable in the clinical field. Therefore, an integrated compressed air source was dispensed with and a variable solution for the compressed air supply was used. Over the last 6 years it turned out that the application in the clinic was still necessary and desired. For this, a more powerful variant was required.
