HISTORYPRO-ACTIVE S.r.l. was founded in February 2004 by Mr. Giuseppe Dall’Ara, a businessman with over 40 years of experience in the medical field. He decided to found PRO-ACTIVE when, concurrently, he and the other two owners sold Plasti Medical—the company he established in 1973—to the multinational corporation Alaris/Cardinal Health. He then led PRO-ACTIVE until 2016. In 2017, the ownership of PRO-ACTIVE S.r.l. changed, and Nord Tecnica S.r.l. acquired the controlling stake. Nord Tecnica S.r.l. has been operating in the Italian medical field for over 25 years, either directly or through holdings in other companies, selling reusable medical devices utilized in operating theaters and Central Sterile Services Departments (CSSD).
