From 2025 Schmidt Medica continued the activities of Wouda Orthopedie B.V.. The Wouda family had to say goodbye to their family business after more than 100 years. Today an agreement has been reached with the curator of the failed company. During the course, intensive cooperation with health insurance company Menzis has been carried out in the context of the continuity of resource care. The new owners, also a family business that has been in existence for 45 years, are pleased with this acquisition. Customers will be personally informed in the short term.
