Overview
The Dried Gram-Negative MIC/Combo Panels are in vitro diagnostic devices used to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of antimicrobial agents against specific Gram-negative bacteria. These panels are designed for quantitative and/or qualitative antimicrobial agent susceptibility testing of rapidly growing aerobic and facultative anaerobic gram-negative bacilli.
The panels are supplied as dried formats and require inoculation before incubation for 16-20 hours at 35°C ± 1°C in a non-CO2 incubator. They can be read either visually or with MicroScan equipment. The device is FDA 510(k) cleared with product code JWY and is classified as a Manual Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test System.
